Vertigo Pendant by Constance Guisset from Petite Friture
Made In France
The light, organic shape of the Vertigo Pendant by Petite Friture gives the impression that it’s floating on air. It twists and drifts on the air currents in the room, as if it’s blowing in the breeze. Designer Constance Guisset incorporated her trademark whimsical style to craft a light fixture designed to embrace those in a room and create an intimate ambience. The fiberglass and polyurethane structure casts an array of shadows on the walls, enhancing the drama of this versatile pendant.
Founded in 2009 by Amelie du Passage, Petite Friture offers a fresh take on provocative modern design, collaborating with a number of emerging lighting and furniture talents to build a collection that is not only useful and elegant but also tells a story. Inspiration is the guiding force behind each and every product, often compelling designers to blend unorthodox materials (such as ribbon and fiberglass) in unorthodox ways in order to create functional works of art.Â
