Vistosi Faro Ceiling Lamp
design Oriano Favaretto
Faro is made up of two pieces of glass harmoniously joined together by a metal ring. The first glass with a colored transparent finish appears to be joined to the second white glass, which hides the LED source. The light is diffused, uniform and not dazzling. Available in two sizes, both in the suspension and ceiling versions.
The lighthouse is the link between the sea and the mainland; its light is a point of reference, which transmits stability and security. The Faro collection, designed for Vistosi by Oriano Favaretto, is inspired by the light signaling system from which it takes its name.
The two glasses, one with a colored transparent finish, the other glossy white, evoke the clear waters of the Venetian lagoon and the dry land respectively. The metal ring that harmoniously joins them, however, is the lighthouse: a central and safe element. The metal frame is available in matte black or brass finish.
The LED light source is hidden in the white glass, which gives a diffused, uniform and non-glaring light, just like a lighthouse for sailors or fishermen who watch it from the sea.
Faro is a design element that becomes the protagonist of the space in which it is installed, visible and perfectly recognizable from any position.
