Tala Mantle Portable Lamp
Mantle is a compact, battery-powered portable lamp designed to mimic the magic of candlelight in any dining setting. The slender size and conical form allow the light to project evenly onto the table surface, while the handle encourages easy interaction.
Conceived as a way to enhance the dining experience and bring people together, Mantle was carefully designed to cascade light downwards to illuminate the surface. To celebrate the theme, the colour finishes – Cobalt Blue, Stone White and Granite Black – reference the rugged serving materials found on the dinner table, such as earthenware, stone and enamel. The name Mantle refers to both the cloaking of the internal batteries and circuitry by a single sheet of stainless steel and the classic clock or cape-like form.
