Posted by Facundo Oviedo on 19th Dec 2021
Minimalism, in general terms, is the tendency to reduce to the essential, to strip away excess elements. The quote that sums up the minimalist philosophy is the famous 'less is more', attributed to the modern architect Mies Van der Rohe.
The term minimalism is used to describe a trend in design and architecture, where the structure is reduced to its necessary elements. The minimalist design has been heavily influenced by traditional Japanese design and architecture.
Over time, the minimalist style has been gaining adherents, fans and detractors, but we cannot deny that it has become popular and many of the objects that are now famous have been conceived under this stylistic trend. Minimalism in the right dose results in functional, elegant and modern spaces.
That is why we select some brands that can bring a bit of minimalism to your spaces.
